Bravo on a good going-over of one of my favorite beers. A word of warning however that I feel you 've failed to give above.... it's rather strong (I can't remember the exact ABV...); but slips down easily. Unlike a pint of dirty "British", lager however the hangovers I've had with this little kitty have been morning knockers** rather than lunchtime creepers*. My friends from Ghent are enthusiasts for Vedett and advise the occasional pint of water as the night goes on if you're doing a session on it..... but that is the more refined way of the continental drinker.

selah.

ooh - there's a bar on Curtain Road that has it on tap and in bottles. can't remember the name but I staggered out of it around 3ish the other morning. Needless to say I hadn't been doing the occasional pint of water thing but still got off with a morning knocker**

**Morning Knocker: Hard hitting hangover that knocks on the inside of your head while you wake up bringing all the fear that your day will be ruined. The Knocker however can it's self be knocked on the head by a few pints of water, liter of Green tea and some healthy breakfast. You'll be fine by 11.

*Lunchtime Creeper: You wake up feeling apparently fine, you forget you were hung over and so don't rehydrate yourself. By lunchtime you feel like a pig came along and shat in your brain. An inability to function will soon follow and you are forced to go home early with intent to fall straight into bed.
